It’s finally Fall and I’m not sure about you, but my favorite part is seasonal get-togethers with friends. If you’re the type of person that loves entertaining for a crowd, or if you’ve been tasked with bringing a dish to a potluck, I have a pro tip for you to make your next party even better: add cannabis to the mix.
In the past, home chefs have taken hours to slow cook flower and butter or olive oil together to make cannabutter, making edibles pretty difficult and time consuming to prepare – especially for a crowd. But it doesn’t have to be that hard.
Introducing: Jade Nectar cannabis tinctures! These tinctures come in a small bottle with a dropper, perfect for adding a dose or two into the olive oil you already have in your cupboard. And guess what? It takes approximately two seconds to make, and is extremely versatile.
To show the utility of this mixture, I made a savory crostini and a sweet ice cream sundae using essentially the same ingredients for each. The first step for both is to create your Jade Nectar olive oil mixture. Since the droppers are easily dosed out already, you can have fun and experiment with the dosage that works for you. For the crostini I suggest starting with 1-2 droppers for each tablespoon of olive oil. The ice cream is a bit more concentrated since it uses less oil, so I suggest 1 dropper per teaspoon of olive oil.
I chose to use pear in these dishes since they are seasonal in the Fall, but you can recreate these crostinis with essentially any fruit you’d like, in any season! Happy entertaining, friends.

Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, and Jade Nectar CBD drops and whisk together. For each tablespoon of olive oil, I added 1-2 full droppers of Jade Nectar CBD drops, but you can alter according to your tastes.
Using a bread knife, slice baguette into ¼ inch thick slices.
Lay baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush slices with olive oil mixture. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until bread is slightly toasted and golden brown.
While your baguette slices are toasting, cut pears into thin slices.
Time to assemble! Spread ricotta on crostini, then add pear slices, chopped walnuts, a drizzle of honey, a pinch of salt, and a drizzle of the CBD olive oil mixture. Serve!

½ cup chopped walnuts
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch salt
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
STEP 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, and Jade Nectar CBD drops and whisk together. For each teaspoon of olive oil, add 1 full dropper of Jade Nectar CBD drops.
Combine ingredients for candied walnuts. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, stirring a couple times throughout.
Assemble ice cream by sprinkling diced pears, candied walnuts, honey drizzle, olive oil, and flaky sea salt (optional).
